MeckaPay - (USA)

This is the place to setup your store to be able to accept payment for the products that you are selling through MeckaPay.

Payment through credit cards is done through our partner Fortis. You will need an account with Fortis to be able to capture payment and deposit it into your bank.

These instructions are for companies doing business in the United States.  Please check the documentation for Canadian instructions eh.


Enable Processing and Fortis Application




If you cannot see MeckaPay then it will need to be enabled.  Contact the Mecka Mentors for assistance.


Sign into your Mecka account and go to your company profile.





Select the MeckaPay tab, click on the small grey info box next to "US Dollars", and click "complete"




Fill out all the information on the page, check the "I acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms" box, then click start.

This will start the process.

Once the Mecka Mentors receive confirmation, they will be able to finish setting it up.


After the Fortis credentials have been created, there are a couple more steps.

First, you must go to the [ State ] Tax Authority website to determine the [ State ] tax percentage. You can also call them if you need to. Once you get the rate, enter it in the [ State ] section of the Tax Table and then click Save and Close.



How to access the Tax Table:




 Once this is complete, make sure your email is entered and B2CeCommerce is enabled, then click Update



This will fully set up the shopping cart on your website.
